We are pleased to announce that the selection committee for the Think Dutchess Innovation Challenge selected UAT as a Semi-Finalist!
The pitch competition places four contestants in two categories (Idea/Seed Stage Start-Up and Early Stage Business) in a live pitch with an audience, as well as a panel of expert judges. The competition promotes advancements in various sectors of emerging technologies. UAT's need for manufacturing electronics and sensing devices aligns with the products and services available in Dutchess County. A potential partnership could be forged with companies such as Marco Manufacturing, an ISO 9001 certified electronics contract manufacturer located in Poughkeepsie, NY. With NYC business aviation making the Hudson Valley Regional Airport (KPOU) a new destination for their AAG's Sikorsky S76 fleet, UAT is excited to network to increase exposure with influential Hudson Valley companies and organizations!
Leading up to the pitch competition UAT will connect with knowledgeable advisors, coaches, industry mentors and potential investors. The Think Dutchess Alliance for Business is a nationally recognized economic development corporation whose mission is to attract, retain, and expand for-profit and not-for-profit businesses through programs in business retention, expansion, and innovation and technology.
